a similar stealth attack ship
The unthinkable happened, actually two unthinkable things happened. An imperial stealth assault ship was taken by Taza with no losses, and a genestealer cult has approached the wyverns for help.
The taking of the ship though was a lot like what they did with the Black Templars warship. They utilized gates to get within the ship and they were quick, they had the ship captured within minutes.
They executed the librarian summarily. I had no doubt it was in Taza, but others seemed surprised by her actions. It think some consider it ruthless, I consider it practical. He couldn’t be released and he couldn’t be trusted. He knew too much.
The ship captain was different. I honestly don’t know what Taza will do with her.
The other aspect was a scout ship arrived from the Khemlin system. Evidently a young girl and an Ogryn escort. The young girl was named Miriam and presented herself as a representative of a genestealer cult that had arrived on planet and taken the population.
She is a mostly humanoid version, her left arm seems to have been mutated, or maybe it is just a mark to reveal her true nature. She however asked for help from Taza specifically from the Black Corsairs, an incredibly harsh subset of the Black Templars.
I still don’t know why she would approach us. I have never heard of a genestealer group reaching out to a non-tyranid source for help. They say it is distance but that doesn’t feel right to me.
Taza is going to investigate, although I wonder how long she will resist the smell of food. I will record more as I see it.
